Sort order. Aug 02, Jeff Lanter rated it really liked it Shelves: RE Archives is a really well-made book about the more recent Resident Evil games with lots of information for fans of the series. I love RE4 and think 5 was pretty good too so it was very enjoyable to read more about each game. The highlight for me was the relatively short section with concept art for both heroes and enemies.

Its really interesting to see what their initial ideas were and how they developed. There are some really beautiful, but tiny pictures of various locations from the games which could have been really great if they were bigger.

My only complaint is that most Resident Evil fans don't need a detailed summary of the entire plot of RE4 or 5. We love these games and have played them already for their story. I would have much preferred these pages be dedicated towards more art or another part of the games. This is a small complaint though.

Any fan of the more recent Resident Evil games will really enjoy having a book like this.
